Family Camp is a camp which is held at El Rancho and it's for children with disabilities, and their families. I went along with my mum and brother. (For those of you who don't know, my brother has mild Tourettes, and Dyspraxia.)

Ok so I just met Kathy Reichs!

I JUST MET KATHY REICHS. OH MY FUCKING GOD!

She had a talk, and we.. okay well the audience asked questions Emz and I sat there shy, and pretty dazzled by her amazingness. Then afterwards she signed our books, and signed a picture of Emily and David for us. *flails* I was too scared to say anything except 'thank you,' and completely scare her with my fangirl-in-the-headlights look as soon as I stood in front of her. LOL.

Omg before we went in though. She was standing right there... RIGHT THERE. And I moved a few paces away cos I was to fucking scared to say anything. *facepalm* Omg speaking of facepalm.. she did a literal *facepalm* and she told us this story of meeting a guy who plays a CSI character.. and making a fool of herself. Or so she thought.. God I'd have been 50 x worse.

I'm not making sense am I?

Ps: She mentioned David Boreanaz! She was talking about how in RL she doesn't go off with the detective the way Brennan goes with Booth, but she said 'If David asked me...?' and then she said 'well certainly,' or something like that. LOL. But so true. If David asked ME to go somewhere, I'd go. LOL. I'd probably walk of a cliff in a complete daze if he was anywhere near me.

In other news, I went to see Shrek The Third today with my little brother (Ashley).

For those of you who don't know, I'm babysitting him every week day of the school holidays... which is kind of difficult. He has his set ways, and it's different taking care of a child with disabilities. I like to pretend he's normal, but a few things today made me realise I do have to treat him a little different from a 'normal,' child. I find him hard to understand sometimes. >_< He thanked me a lot today, and helped me feed/water the pets before we left. That was nice.

We spent $80.00 today. *dies* I can't believe we spent that much.

I got our Order of the Phoenix tickets for next week. *grin* I'm taking my little brother. I sort of wanted to go with my friends, but I haven't heard from them - and Ash really wanted to go. I'm SO excited, LOL. Even though the movies aren't that great compared to the books.. speaking of.. I have to try and read all 6 of them in 16 days. Uh oh. :P

I have some new pictures of my cousins. I'm not even sure some of you have seen my twin cousins - Matai and Ari.. or their little sister Nela. :)

How are you f-list? ♥

I'm babysitting Petra tonight. I think she wants me to babysit her every Monday. I get $10.00 from about 7.00pm-10.30pm. I don't mind much, though usually I ask for $5.00 per hour. But she's my family. I get a little bored though, Petra is sleeping the entire time.. and they don't have wireless so I can't use the internet unless I use their computer and I feel weird using their computer.. and I can't save things to their computer either.

Oh well I have SO much reading to do. I really need to read Order Of The Phoenix, before the movie comes out... but I'm really enjoying It so I want to finish that.. :\ Decisions, decisions.

Mum got paid today, and she gave me the rest of the money she owed, and I put it in my bank account cos $26.00 comes out every Tuesday for my laptop. (I'm paying it off using hire purchase.) I then convinced her to take me to the second hand bookstore. *grin* It had a sign up "back in 5-10 minutes," so we went next door and my mum bought a bag, I bought a wallet and then my mum bought me a skirt! They were all really cheap.

You know I'm glad I have this skirt since I have just my black work pants left. Yeah. I had two pairs of jeans, but about three days ago my favourite jeans fly broke.. sort of understandable since they're warehouse jeans.. but my other pair got hair dye on them today when my mum was dying my hair. (I have photos, but you can't really tell what the colour is like properly..)

My dad got me and Ash the Doctor Who DVDs (well I paid half, and we hired them from Blockbuster) but it's season one, and we're going to watch them over the school holidays. It gives me and Ash something to do together so we don't fight... but apparently he has a friend coming over tomorrow morning (and I'm babysitting Ash.. and obviously his friend too.. which I only just found out.) and then in the afternoon he's going to his friends place. Maybe I can catch up with one of my friends, cos it seems I won't have much time for that since Ash won't let me take him out anywhere. (He is SUCH a baby.)

Uh okay. I may not be able to finish replying to your comments, and I'm not even sure I'll get time to check my f-list.. I'm exhausted, and I'm going to be even more tired by the time I get home from babysitting.
